• Completed a clinical documentation review for a Profit System with more than 400 clinic sites.
• Reviewed the clinical data supporting levels of service for compliance with Medical Necessity requirements.
• Evaluated staff functions, tools, workflows and underlying Systems to determine which areas of performance could be improved.
• Provided a comprehensive look at the way 30,000,000 tests had been documented, and billed.
• Examined how records were structured and provided a design for a more effective review process.
• Designed new logic and tools to facilitate screening and approval for Medical Necessity.
• Created an automated Review System for the client to use on future exercises.
• Worked closely with the clinical staff on education issues for Medical Necessity and provided training in critical documentation skills.
